Rosa Maria PIDATELLA

Assistant Professor of Numerical analysis [MATH-05/A]

Rosa Maria Pidatella, class 1957, graduated in Physics with 110/110 cum laude, curriculum AstroPhysics, by the University of Catania in 1981. She had a grant for one year by  Kiepenheuer Institut of Freiburg.i.Br. and a two years stage by ST-Microelectronics of Catania. She had the PhD in Mathematics and Computer Science by the University of Napoli in 1995. She is  University Researcher of Numerical Analysis by the University of Catania since 1996. She teaches Numerical Linear Algebra and Ulteriori Abilità Informatiche  in "Corso di Laurea di Matematica Triennale" and Analisi Numerica in "Corso di Laurea di Informatica Magistrale".

She works on Special Functions and Umbral Calculus, and on the resolution of Conservation laws with High Order Interpolation. She collaborates with a group of ENEA in Frascati.
