Laureato nel 1998 in Informatica, consegue il Dottorato di Ricerca in Informatica dal Dipartimento di Matematica ed Informatica dell'Universita` di Catania nel 2008. Assunto in STMicroelectronics presso la sede di Catania nel 1999 come CAD Engineer. Nel 2003 si unisce al Gruppo IPG R&D. Nel Novembre del 2009 si unisce al Technical Staff Engineer Group, sviluppando conoscenze e competenze di R&D su Sviluppo Software ed Algoritmi. Collabora con Universita` ed Enti di Ricerca su diversi progetti di ricerca. Dal 2017 docente di Informatica presso il MIUR. Da Gennaio 2022 ricercatore presso il DMI dell'Università di Catania. Autore di pubblicazioni concernenti i campi menzionati per Journals e Conferenze Internazionali.
